INGREDIENTS

1 cup (125g, 4oz) plain flour (all-purpose flour)

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

ΒΌ tsp salt

1 egg

ΒΎ cup (185ml, 6flΒ oz) milk

2 tbsps unsalted butter, melted1 tsp vanilla extract

 

METHOD

Preheat air fryer to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to a mixing bowl and stir until well combined.

In a separate bowl whisk the egg, milk, butter and vanilla until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.

Place a lightly greased waffle iron into the air fryer basket to preheat for 5Β minutes. When warmed, pour the batter into the waffle iron, using about Β½ to ΒΎΒ cup of batter per waffle, depending on the size of the waffle iron.Β 

Close the basket and cook for 5-10Β minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside. Transfer the waffles to a plate to keep warm and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
