INGREDIENTS
6 boneless chicken thighs (or 3 large breasts), cubed and tossed in cornflour (cornstarch)
ΒΌ cup (60ml, 2fl oz) soy sauce
2 tbsps brown sugar
2 tbsps orange juice
4 tbsps hoisin sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp cold water
1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
2 tsps sesame seeds
METHOD
Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 20Β minutes at 200Β°C (400Β°F), turning halfway.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Place soy sauce, sugar, orange juice, hoisin sauce and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved, then whisk in the cold water and cornflour. Stir in the sesame seeds and remove from the heat. Set aside.
When chicken is cooked, remove from the air fryer and coat with the sauce.
