WHEN NIGHT FALLS COLOR IF YOU DARE.
“Enter freely and of your own will!” So Count Dracula urges visitors to his castle, and so we invite you to enter this book, crammed with undead, blood-sucking, bat-transforming, coffin-sleeping vampires.
Tales of blood-drinking beings go back thousands of years before Bram Stoker, but the image of the vampire that inspired his 1897 Gothic novel has its roots in the folklore of Eastern Europe. The movie of Dracula that was made by Universal Pictures in 1931 was so successful it kicked off a whole genre of classic horror movies. The figure of the vampire hibernated for a while, and then it rose to prominence again with the seductively romantic characters of Anne Rice and the Twilight series.
So please, take up your coloring pencils and spend a few hours in the wicked but alluring world of the vampire.
