INGREDIENTS
115g (4oz) butter, softened
1 cup (155g, 5oz) packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups (210g, 8oz) plain flour (all-purpose flour)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup (155g, 5oz) chocolate chips
METHOD
Preheat air fryer to 150°C (300°F).
Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
Stir in the eggs, vanilla, flour, salt, bicarb (baking soda) and baking powder. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Form the mixture into balls and flatten each one slightly. Transfer to the lined air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Remove from air fryer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. The cookies will crisp up some more in this time.
