Asparagus, Almonds and Capers

INGREDIENTS

1 bunch asparagus

2 tbsps balsamic vinegar

2 tbsps olive oil

2 tbsps capers

Pinch of salt and pepper

⅓ cup (40g, 1½ oz) sliced almonds

 

METHOD

Place the asparagus on a plate and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and oil. Sprinkle with capers, salt and pepper. Turn the spears around through the mixture so that each one is well coated.

Transfer the asparagus to the basket of the air fryer and spread out in a single layer. Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).

Cook for 5 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.

Serves 4
